Youth Group

The First Congregational Church Youth Group is for students in grades 7 through 12. We usually meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for games, Bible study, fellowship, and prayer. Various special activities and events are scheduled throughout the year.

Our primary purpose is to help each student develop a meaningful personal relationship with God. We will be having regular Bible studies along with testimonies and life lessons from experienced Christians.

Some of the special activities anticipated for this year include:

  • Biking
  • Skiiing
  • Bowling
  • Local Service Projects
  • Nursing Home Outreach
  • Annual Wii Bowl
  • Winter Retreat
  • Christmas Caroling
  • Rock Climbing
  • Pumpkin Carving

Our 2009-2010 year begins on September 23 with Submarines and Sundaes for students and their families. Teens and their families are invited to this first night. There will be a short introduction to the Epistle to James which we will be studying this Fall. Also a review of upcoming events and-weather permitting-a volleyball game on the front lawn. The Youth Group is open to teens in grades seven through twelve.
